LICENSED PSYCHOLOGIST, PSY.D.
THERAPY FOR ADULTS STRETCHED IN TOO MANY DIRECTIONS.
You're managing, but underneath there's a relationship that's gotten heavy, responsibilities that won't ease up, a pattern you can't break. Reaching out isn't easy, but you're here now and that means something. With nearly 20 years of experience, I can help.

CORE PHILOSOPHY
UNDERSTANDING YOUR PATTERNS IS THE FIRST PART. LIVING DIFFERENTLY IS THE SECOND.
A lot of people understand themselves perfectly and still can't change. Or they change for a while, then slip back into old patterns.
That's because insight without integration - understanding without action - doesn't stick.
Here, we focus on both. We figure out where your patterns come from.
Then we do the hard work: building a life that actually reflects what you've learned.

WHAT I SPECIALIZE IN
SOUND LIKE YOU? I CAN HELP.
Adults worn down by their roles
You're good at your job but the pressure is catching up with you. The dynamics, the demands, everyone leaning on you. I understand this from the inside - from fifteen years managing people and making those calls myself.
Relationship complexity
A partnership that's shifted. A parent-child dynamic that's become painful. A friendship or family relationship where the words don't come easily. I help you untangle what's happening so you can move forward and not just manage the tension.
The emotional side of weight-loss medication
You're on weight-loss medication. The cravings quiet down. And suddenly you're alone with feelings the food was holding off; old questions about your body, your worth, who you are underneath it. This is the part the medication can't do.
WORK WITH ME
THREE WAYS I CAN HELP
I work with individuals in therapy, conduct psychological evaluations for professionals, and provide clinical supervision for clinicians.
Anchor 1

INDIVIDUAL THERAPY
Ongoing support for as long as needed, focused work in three or five sessions, or support for those navigating the emotional side of weight-loss medication.

CLINICAL SUPERVISION
For early-career psychologists and trainees seeking guidance and skill-building.

MEET DR. JULIA LAEVSKY
You walk in carrying something heavy and deeply personal. What matters most is whether you can trust that the person across from you actually understands what you're dealing with.
I've spent nearly twenty years across psychiatric hospitals, crisis centers, a jail, community clinics, and outpatient practice. Fifteen years in leadership roles managing teams and making difficult decisions around safety and risk. That breadth of experience changes what I see when you come in. I can tell the difference between what's manageable and what's not. I don't get thrown easily.

The people I work with deserve someone who truly gets it. That's what twenty years brings.
